Can somebody tell me why my car is 2cm higher than it should be on super low springs?

Mines 33cm from centre of rim to wheel arch on the rear and 34cm at the front. Doesnt hit stops even on big bumps.

Thrashed out strut top bushes/bearings will lower the car as the bush compresses. My bushes/bearings are brand new with the above measurements. If you renew yours it will raise the front, by how much depends on how much the bushes are compressed.

Meh, I don't feel very keen on spending money to lower my car 1cm.

Can you guys measure from the ground to the guard for me?

I remeasured. 34cm hub to guard and 66.5 from the ground to the guard.

29.5 hub to guard for the rear and from the ground its 61.5

Weird our our fronts are so different - prob because im on 20's - but its still confusing as we have the same hub to guard measurements...

Im on 19s 245/35

When I installed new strut top bushes it raised the car a few cms at the front. They were compressed a fair bit.

My hub to guard measurements may have been a bit off, hard to find the centre of the wheel with the big VE centrecaps haha

I am considering changing them as it would be cheaper than lowering my car more (Plus the ones I have are apparently **** as they have no flex). But the labour cost is essentially the same.

How much does Holden charge for original ones?
