Can VE Omega MY 9.5 play Mp3 CD ?

Hey Guys,

I purchased 2009 omega ve last month. specifications say that it has got radio CD with 6 speakers. It also have front AUX port. the problem is that i cant play an Mp3 CD in its player. i rang Ballan Holden They said it should play Mp3. i tried several Mp3 CDs but none of them plays. i tried them in omega MY10 series 2 they run nice & smooth. i also wanted to upgrade to 6 CD player but tech's at holden didnt recomend it. any advice or help is appreciated.

i think thats the difference between the series one and the series 2, one can play mp3's and the can't

only the ssv and calais lcd screen type head unit in series 1 play mp3 you can get one fitted
