Castrol Edge engine oil. My local Holden dealer will not allow me to use Castrol Edge oil in my MY18 2018 Holden Calais V AWD they say causes soot.

I'm using Nulon ATM. I have about 9L left. Once that's gone I will likely switch to Penrite as it's cheaper from the machine shop now the Nulon I use is never on special.

From what I've read in the V8 forums. More people on JC seem to use Penrite over any other brand.

The boys from Torque Hub here in Perth nailed a sponsorship from them. I’ve used it for as long as I can recall. I did use Castrol Edge for a bit but went back to Penrite.

Definitely nothing with castrol edge, been running it in my daily Mazda and is good
