the VX has a flash programmed PCM & yes it can be modified.

Is there anything that can be done to make the VX more responsive? My mates AUIII takes off a **** load faster then mine and a simple tap of the accelerator will get it to move..

Someone said it's to stop wheelspin when people floor it, by cutting off the fuel..

Is this true and can it be reversed?

im not trying to knock Doctor Bob or anything, but im just wondering if anyone has any experience with his chips, or would i be better off going to PowerChip or someone like that?

ive got a chip from dr bob in my vs....and it is without doubt the best bang for you buck mod that ive done to it yet.
for a fraction of what other places quoted me i got a chip that i am stoked with and the once sleepy stock vs i started with absolutely hammers after a coupla bolt on mods and a good chip.

Dr Bobs Chips

I traded my standard chip from my 200VT berlina for one of Bobs and the change was dramatic to say the least. After the other mods i had done, Bobs chip was the icing on the cake and a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than any other quote i was given. Go for it! (Bob, if you are reading this, the chips in the mail, or will be tomorrow.)

At the moment my VX is all stock except for the K&N filter (best thing ever)...

Is it worth getting the flash PCM reprogrammed? I get it moving on the green light (don't mistake that!) but I wanna see if more can be done.

I will one day add some new toys to my ecotec but I want something to play with until then... muahahaha!!! :yeah:

If you think a K&N is the best thing ever then getting a chip done will blow your mind lol. Would hate to see what you would say with a blower upgrade LOL.
