Mines auto too, the drone isnt not too bad. I always loved the Coby sound as I had a one on my first car a Mk 1 Zephyr!

My VY2 has the Coby tri into Y 2.5 to 3inch system with the cats removed. Sounds fantastic in my opinion. Nice deep V8 rumble without deafening people on the side of the road. Decent performance upgrade too. The Rage systems are made by Chase as Commodore665 mentioned.
Mines an auto as well.

Are you saying put a twin 2.5" into single 3" system on an LS based car?

Currently running a twin 3" X-Force with 4-1 extractors at 200cpi cats. Probably going to step it down into a twin 2.5" di filippo sometime soon. While the x-force sounds insane at WOT i don't need the old lady 2 streets away hearing my car on start up.

Waste of time imo from what i've read and seen and personal experience with LS based cars over about 7 years.

It won't be restrictive at all. It's just a sound thing.

I have a full coby system in my car, extractors thru to the tail pipe, it is awesome, no drone at all and a sexy note when at full revs.

Can't say what a cat back will do but they have a good name in NZ

Hi VESSVBLACK,

I have the exact system - "Coby super big bore 2.5'' Y into a single 3'' from the diff back-Hotdog =rear resonator combo" It does sound awesome and sets off a lot of car alarm system when driving past!, its pretty mean. The only issue I have is that it drones in 6th around 1800 rpm, not sure what can be done about this? also I am think of removing the Cats, what effect will this have on the sound - any ideas?

Thanks,
