Never heard of issues on the VS, mine fits a treat. I think the VN-VP you need to do some work to get it good.

I had no troubles puttin mine in either it took me 10 mins max and that was mostly cutting the airbox with a big wood saw because I could find the lil hand saw but I did find it as soon as I finished the peice of ****.

I put a V8 genuine holden CAI in my V6. I do feel a difference

Sup just got a V6 supercharger CAI for my car, with a bit of cutting of the air box and three screws its on. I think it drives better then it use 2, i really wasnt expecting that much difference and the best part. It doesnt sound like a pod!
Oh yeah you can get the CAI from holden cost me like $60 for the CAI and the pipe, didnt get the airbox as you can hack the old one up and it does the same job.

VL twin turbo. VN5L. old jeep, **** mondeo.
to make it fit properly just heat it up with a heat gun/hairdryer and then shut the bonnet, it will mould it.

did you make sure that the CAI was perfectly centre ontop of the radiator... that could have an effect. Mine fit perfectly first go!

I got mine off ebay for $50 and it was already setup in the one piece(box +intake pipe). I dont know if the guy did it himself but if he did its a damn neat job. Took me about 10mins.

I will have to check to see if it is perfectly centre tomorrow. The bonnet closes, just on the one side the gap isnt perfect.
