Hey all,

Posting for a mate, so bear with me!

He is building a VK Calais and wants to know about fitting Convo pros.

Is it possible to fit 15 x 8.5 x 3/8 bs to the rear without tubbing, and over disc brakes? And, would it be better to box the lower control arms to avoid clearance issues?

Any help would be great!

He also wants to know diff lengths, etc, for fitting a 9 inch.

Cheers,
Sam

vs commo
to fit convo pro's 8.5 3/8th backspace, you must box in trailing arms, shorten diff 70mm each side (or there abouts) and if you want to run disc brakes you have to move the shock mounts to clear the brakes, otherwise run drum brakes. 255 or 10" rear tyres would be the max with stock wheel tubs.

also order non multi fit and get a machine shop to drill commodore stud pattern, convos wont fit chev bolt pattern onto commodore, safest way to go!
