Coolant leak 06 VE [First Post]

Doesn't sound as bad as I thought. Belt might be the main fiddilly thing. I did it all on my Mercedes may as well give it a go on the commie.
Fixed top hose today. Just waiting for another leak to appear now aha.

The belts easy as! Should be a diagram in the owners manual.

Belts is one of the easiest jobs. 7mm socket to remone the air box and 15mm to compress the tensioner. If you get coolant on the belts you may need to replace them as they may start squealing like mine did.

Have been told coolant leaks are common with the earlier VE cooling systems.
i had the same problem.
Replaced the rings, but still leaked.
Replaced pump, but still leaked.
Mechanics added chemiweld and that stopped my cars coolant leak.
If it continues to leak after that then it's probably a costly head gasket.

I know it's been a while but just wanted to say thanks for all the help!
Changed the water pump like you all said and it stopped leaking. Might of taken a while for me to change it but definitely worth it. Mechanic wanted over $400 to fix it, but it only cost me just over $100 to do it myself.
