Cross8 Front Bumper

Hi all.

I've managed to find a bullbar for my VY Cross8 but my next drama is when fitting it the bottom section of the front bumper is cut off and the the grill and a strip below the headlights is retained.

Because I don't want to cut up a good Cross8 bumper, will any other bumper fit? My headlights have a flat bottom edge like the VZ but I have read somewhere that the edge of the light next to the grille is different to the VZ.

Yes the headlights are different.

You need a VY bar to suit a VY and VZ bar to suit a VZ.

I would also fit the bullbar first and make a few templates at various points to gather measurements that can be transferred to a donor bar which would best be a VY exec bar and live with the bit missing at the flares

Or you could find a munted VY Adventra bar on market place that’s only good for cutting up. That would be a win.
