i think you'll find abs and drivers airbag were an option for an extra $1500 on the equipe.
as for the alloys i wasnt sure of the size.. 16" just came to mind when i was trying to remember (its been a while since ive had them on the car) how big they were, could very well have been 15".

cheers man....they cost me just under $2k with rubber, from keith for wheels at underwood (i think its underwood,lol)..southside of brissy anyway.
originally i had my heart set on 19"s...but its was almost another grand for them, so 18"s had to suffice.

how does a CAI work with a pod filter? I didn't realise you could have both.

thats unusual that a vs didnt have an airbag. even the series 1 exec vs's had airbags.
by memory that last car dont to have airbags where some of the vrs

like i said before dude the drivers airbag was an optional extra on models that didnt have it standard...so obviously the person who bought my car brand new didnt pay for the extras.

have a geez at my engine bay pics...you'll see the CAI running underneath the pod with the heat shield...the duct that would normally run into the air box has been modified (hacksawed) on a severe angle directly beneath the filter so the cool air is sucked straight into it...
its all very tight and only just fits, but it works a treat.

alright, update on my ride.....in the next month or two ive decided after much deliberation to stroke my ecotec with the C.O.M.E. racing 4.2L stroker kit!
during the engine rebuild ill also put in a mild cam and possibly strenthen the old 4L60e up a bit (if ive got the dosh)....it'll also have some better spark with the aid of msd ignition coil packs and leads and better stopping power with a pbr racing brake upgrade.
all in all it should be a very mean and powerfull package!
