Personally, the thing that speaks louder to me is the condition someone keeps the car in and how they drive it, not what colour it is.

For example. If you keep the car clean and drive around like a regular person, I'd see the car go past and think that's a nice car regardless of the colour. If its filthy and you get the tyres screeching turning in on a suburban street I'm just going to think you're a $#it head, and I'm STILL not going to notice the colour haha.
