Was flat, now is dead flat with no ignition (lights were tested and left on) Cannot do anything and the battery is in the boot.
How does one access the battery or pop the boot without power?

put the key in the door and open the car.
Pop the bonnet and attach a charger to the engine bay terminals (or jump start to charge it)

There’s an emergency boot release on the drivers side of the “ski port” in the rear seats. Fold down the middle seat in the back and theres a ring pull for the boot halfway up on the drivers side of the hole going into the boot.

If it's not your car, don't try and jump start it. Just charge up the battery and see how it goes. Occasionally jump starting a VE can cause expensive problems.

Yep,
• unlock the door with the key.
• Open the rear door.
• Fold down the arm rest in the centre of the rear seat.
• Pull the yellow boot release.
• Get out.
• Open boot normally.
• Remove the Negative terminal first.
• Then the positive terminal.
• Then remove the battery.
• Then charge the battery.
• Reinstall the battery.
• make sure the vent tube goes back on. (Really important)
• Then attach positive first.
• Then negative terminal.
• Start car.
