At the beginning of the year I too had my previous 2.87 diff ratio replaced with a 3.46 Diff ratio. I found that the 3.46 gear ratio better suited my everyday city driving to a point. I also found that the factory down shift point into 1'st gear at 60 km/h was still present and did make the transmission down shift at a high engine rpm. In regards to the rpm down shift from second, I felt that the motor had more power to make before it hit the 7k rpm limiter. Is this normal when changing diff gears?.
Or is changing the diff gears after the car being tuned at Castle Hill Performance a mistake?
