What is the difference between a VT SS LSD and a VX SS LSD, the guy mentioned the yoke was different. Forgive my ignorance, but what part is the yoke. Can I take it from my VX diff and replace the one off the VT so it fits my VX?
Will the VT SS LSD fit my VX SS.

The joke is where the tailshaft meets the diff.

On a VT, it is a 4 bolt metal yoke that connects the tailshaft to the diff.

On a VXm it is a 6 bolt rubber yoke that connects the tailshaft to the diff. 3 bolts from tailshaft to yoke and 3 bolts from yoke to tailshaft.

The reason for the rubber yoke was to absorb some of the initial stress on the tailshaft and diff when you give it the beans.

I think the easiest solution for mounting a VT diff in a VX or vice versa, is to replace the tailshaft to match the diff. My understanding is that to swap over the yokes is more difficult as you need the correct pinion for it aswell. Not sure about this though.

Hope that helps

Thanks Jesterarts, I will wait for the right diff. Pain in the butt though.

The LSD part of the diff is the same. Just change the yoke.
