Disconnecting transmission line.

just a question to the gut that put the transmission cooler in .once you got the lines off what did you use to plumb the lines back into the new cooler.is there a chance you give a bit of a description or photos because i am having a hard time plumbing mine in

You could probably piss off the original hoses with the clip connectors and run normal rubber hoses with hose clamps at both ends.

Yea I just used tranny line and clamps from pirtek. Feed them through on the left side of the rad. There's a plastic thing in the way which I cut.

VE is different to those, I just got a steak knife and popped out the circlips in 5 secs! Job done!

toyota hilux with ecotec v6
Need help cut my auto trans lines to replace with rubber onee and did not label what pipe went to too and what pipe went to bottom of radiator oil cooler is there a set way they must go i assume the too trans line goes to top of oil cooler and bottom line goes to bottom anyhelp be great

Agree, a Biro or such plastic pen cap works a treat. I have used such method with great success and no expense. Glad to hear you resolved your problem.

Have you bypassed the cooler that is incorporated into the radiator (as standard) ?

By the way, with two coolers fitted your transmission may not reach an acceptable operating temperature. Do you intend to also install a Transmission Oil Temp. Gauge ?

what line should be removed if flushing the torque/radiator of old fluid?
is it line "5" as i this diagram? on a 2007 VE commodore (lumina/omega L460E AT)
(i know that my lines use the circlip type thingo)
