Nope just tack cloth it and tack cloth between each coat of silver

Hey mate i tackled my first ACRYLIC spray job on my VB and it came out very well... I was worried with the sanding between the BASE and the CLEAR coat as it had a bit of (ORANGE PEEL)in base coat but when the clear goes on it went away ... I mixed my paint the same as smOOth said above!!!!!

Make sure u put a lot of coats of CLEAR on it as it gave my car a deeper wet look.... After it was all sanded down to remove slight orange peel i buffed with cuttin compound then waxed it and it was GREAT looks good for a DIY job!!!!!!
Just keep searching the net and reading up about it and you will be fine!!!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
