Do I need a retune?

2010 ssv ute - had vcm headers, exhaust, otr and tune at 3000k. Now is at 28000k - no mods since first lot at 3000k - just wondering if there is any need to have it retuned? what I'm asking is if once tuned it, is the tune set and forget or does it need to be retuned as time goes by? As you can guess I'm not mechanically minded and searched the forum and couldn't find anything about this
