I saw a blue BF XR8 on glossy black 16's with chrome nuts today - really liked the look of it for some reason.

Usually I hate them, at least get some hub caps!

on a early commodore theyre ok if the cars dumped with vr acclaim caps otherwise i prefer alloys ..

I think they can look ok.
Nohing beat's a nice decent set of rim's though.
In alot of cases i see, It seem's that they are used as 'i got no money but wana be cool'

As long as they are not all scratched and dirty.

I was always under the impression that if the police ordered a pursuit vehicle "interceptor" it came with the wider rim, but I could be wrong.They were always that way when I worked there, but hey I'm not sure anyone cares these days every car on a stock rim is an ex cop bt1 with interceptors :blah blah:

I too was under the impression that all were 7" and stockies were 6".

Also I must say no no to black versions.. To me they look like they are missing there hub caps.

Depends on the car, really. On some cars they can look great. Then there's some cars that they just don't suit at all.
