Yeah $300 could be better spent elsewhere since u already got a CAI thats doing a decent job as it is on a stock 5L

What does the size of the airbox have to do with it?
Apart from pleasing Mrs. Epa's ears... I guess at least commodores didn't end up with an abs j pipe to make it more pleasing.

It's a stock 5 litre. It doesn't have heavy breathing requirements. Even the early HSV had a different cold air intake on the top of the radiator but stock airbox. The VT one in comparision is much larger so in my thinking would allow even more air in.

Spend money elsewhere as plenty of other budget mods can do first before airbox/manifold.

That's enough to keep ya busy particularly if on tight budget.

Pretty sure if it's the 195i SS HBD, it will have the HSV intake on it.
Mine had it.
