Hey guys,

I've started re-trimming my interior. I want to get rid of the carpet and put some white seude / leather in but it seems my carpet is glued in (everywhere ive read mentions it been clipped in?)

Does this mean I need new door trims or is there a way around this?

cheers

There is a way around it. You can buy the inserts from a VN or VS, then drill the holes in your door trim so they sit into your original ones. VP - VR had them pressed in so they aren't removable, but as I said you can put the VN/VS inserts over the top of your pressed in ones, just need to drill holes.

you could have mine cheap but i think they got wrecked in the cyclone a few weeks back. just use some 3mm mdf or ply. make a template on cardboard or whatever then cut up the wood to suit. only thing i can think which would trip you up is the clips, they're kinda like massive staples
