Has anyone had any success with the cheap $50 ebay ignition modules? I think mine died last night. Had it go before and I think it's the same issue. Was thinking of trying one of these but would like to hear your experiences. I sourced a repaired changeover one previously.

2 times in 22 years the car has let me down and I think it's the same issue...

Cheers

I'd buy from somewhere local so when it stuffs up take it back same day...no more genuine parts replacements just aftermarket & most of either junk or poor quality control

Buy two of the cheapest ones, install one and leave the second one in your car. Then if the first one fails, it's very quick and easy to install the second one on the spot (unless it's raining LOL). Looking at the ones on eBay, they all look identical and have the same wire across the top, unlike the standard module where the wiring is internal.
