email notification

hey guys just thought id bring this up but 4 some reason I am not getting email notifications any more? email boxes r checked and im not getting them in my emails junk box nor r they blocked.

I only get emails about my subscribed threads, have you subscribed or I subscribed to any?

nope I just rely on getting email notifications for pms.ect.... as I don't seem to b able 2 get on the site as much these days so if I have customers needing contact I can do so straight away.

Double checked your site settings? Who's your mail provider?

wrx i had the same problem with hotmail/outlook. all my PM's (which is all the notification i get) were going to my junk folder.

theres an option that says 'wait, its safe' then it goes back to your inbox.

yeah mate I can get a screen shot if u want 2 double check for me LOL but na I haven't changed a thing and all boxes r checked like they were b4.

cheers jecs I use outlook express, just checked my junk folders I have nothing there. Tho I found an old email notification pm back from the 14/7/13 after that date ive not receive another. I clicked on the "safe senders list" on my list so i'll see if I get notifications now.

just a tip if you use Tapatalk on iPhone or Android you get notifications for all kinds of stuff as well.

Outlook express was decommissioned ages ago.
I know their protocols changed as well.

You sure its OE? and have recieved emails since the last JC notification?

OE should still work fine, it runs pop3 and imap, it just doesn't come out of the box anymore.

Can you still do mail full stop?

Ah **** yes ur right they did change over its now windows live mail but either way I was getting notifications b4 even after the upgrade and haven't since the date I posted b4.

I assume u mean emails though my emailing program not PMs yes? if so yes I can mail.
