Hi guys recently snapped the 4 engine cover studs while tighten the bolts and aswell the 2 studs thats hold the throttle body to manifold now rang holden spare parts and for 30$ i can get them all inculding the bolts and the rubber for engine cover. Now my question is there any trick to get the studs back in place??? Do i have to weld or push them gently with hammer or just use lockite on the studs??? Plz help me

The engine cover studs just knock in with a hammer. Line the splines on the new studs up with the grooves in the hole left by the old studs. It won't hurt to use Loctite but it isn't necessary.

I've never had to replace the TB studs but (without a car in front of me) suspect that they screw in.

At $30 I would probably be trying a wrecker for those parts (maybe not the rubbers). They are the sort of thing they will give you for no charge.

Once you install them..

Tighten them to the proper torque!

Don't overtighten and snap the new one's.
