Hey guys i have a holden 2005 SV6 commadore with a blown engine i was just wondering if i could put 2002 vx commadore engine in it ?? Any hrlp would be awsome please and thanks

If it wasn't anti regulation it would be a better engine imo, but no it can't be done.

You can’t put an engine in from an older car. You can swap an Alloytec with an Alloytec of the same type. LE0 with LE0. LY7 with LY7.

You can put any motor in as long as the car meets emissions standards for the model when it was made. Making an old engine do that is near on impossible and a big part of why engines change and evolve.

Stick with what you have or take a long hard look at your wallet.
