2010 VE SS ute
Hello you guru's. This has probably been asked before but the ESP light is coming on in my VE SS ute. I checked the brake booster sensor and its wiring from the firewall plug. There's an open 5v circuit. I'm thinking it might originate from the ECU. Can Holden correct this or will I need to have the ECU repaired? TIA.

It will be from low voltage availability in the battery.
Have the battery health checked and load tested. Have the charge circuit tested.

The ECM will most likely be shutting down less critical systems to prioritise the available voltage to keeping the engine running.

Let your start up checks finish before cranking, as above, the battery might be the problem.

I also had the ESP turning off with a faulty MAF, if this is what you mean by “esp light”?
