You can, but its not easy or cheap. It generally the cruising speeds that sound like arse. However from the outside and inside of the car i like my idle and getting up it. The cruising and slow take offs sound crap.

I disagree in part, you can make a V6 sound good for a V6 without spending too much. Saying it will never sound as good as an 8 is just pointless and not helpful at all.

All an exhaust is is the muffler an size tubing.

95% of exhausts are a 2.5" tube an depending on wat muffler u chose is wat sound u get.

also going from the stock cat to a 2.5" 200cpi cat will change the exhaust note even more
I have just fitted a 2.5" magnaflow cat to my VS that already had extractors and a 2.5" cat back system with resonator and the car was not much louder over stock but with the bigger cat the car is slightly louder cruising but has a nice rasp to it when you get into it
also my motor is not stock either

Just get a full system for under a grand from NAAF, it sounds good.

Bang on^^ I got mine sounding quite good b4 I sold it but seriously if u expect an 8 sound your a fool...
