Manual or Auto?

Manual = 3inch pipe with straight through muffler. sounds like 5L v8
Auto = 2 1/2 inch with straight through muffler. sounds little different from others

Cat back 2 1/2 and 2 1/4 are the choice of most, this along with a straight through tip will give the car a nice note.
However if you are going too get some forced induction later down the track i would go for the 3".

Inch Mods
2 1/4 | CAI, panel filter,sports heads
2 1/2 | CAI, panelfiler, sports headers,cams
3 | Any Major Mods supercharger, turbos ect.

thats my understanding any way.

Im going the 2 1/2 because it sounds better too say 2 1/2 system then 2 1/2. haha

twin 2.1/4 system with high flow cats and extractors a single muffler and 1 resi on each side, will be exe but sound real good, and nick81xd what the fark are you talking about is it manual or auto it makes no difference you nob and also a 3" will kill a stock v6 i have a 2.5 inch on my 185i clubbie
