A lazy VE
For a drag/strip car yep I agree the combo works, BUT for an everyday daily driver I would vomit at the sight, Davey made good point one way to detract from the sexy lines of the car, as said in the end it your car bud, if ya happy that's all that matters :)

Hey guys,

decided not to go that direction...at east not 15s...im looking at 17s. But im still looking for a staggered look. I wonder what is the fattest I can shove back there with no or minimal rubbing...I know ppls in the US have put as wide as 275x18 to 275x19s with no rub...you guys think i can go 275x17s at the rear?

Now the only problem is getting the right wheels, there arent many around wih 17x9s that will fit commos...

any help guys would be greatful!

peace
