That's y you make a mock up one, you don't put bigger rims on a genuine, it's like playing with god of vl's you just don't do it...Big rims were'nt big back then stock on new cars. They only just started putting some 17's stock on new cars a couple of years back.

Mate rims are aesthetic, for originalitys sake yeah the 16's are ok (not really)
but a Walky with 18's or 19's even and it takes the bulkiness away from the bodykit and keeps the car looking in proportion.
Personally mock cars of any sort just sh*t me to tears, and the first car to get 17's from the Holden factory was all the way back in 1990 so they been around for quite a while.
But each to their own, we all have different opinions on what looks good :)

series II vl calais with turismo mica paintjob (the light blue on the VZ Monaros and SV6's SS's, etc.) lowered with some nice rims, V8, manual, and a packet of tim tams that never runs out :)

Calais, but not Turbo...cos theres too many turbo, one with a 308 V8 would be mint!
