- vl berlina wagon 6cyl
The VL is said to be easily damaged by heavy towing, the floor stretching at the back. I expect this applies to all other early commodores or does it?
its said the cure is a towbar with arms going forward under the floor to the start of the rear suspension, with bolts thru floor to reinforce it:lock:
when I put a second hand towbar on my wagon I was shocked at how thin the metal was and how easily the drill went thru it
has anyone actually seen VL damage caused by towing?
