Hi guys, so recently I have been working on my l76 6.0l I have done
Reconditioned heads
Cleaned lifters
One cylender replaced due to piston slap honed measured and replaced.
1 standard size Conrod bearing measured and replaced
New camshaft as the old one was bad from a bad lifter
New timing chain
now that everything is back together I primed the engine with no spark plugs or injectors then started it up,
It was very loud and had low oil pressure, I don’t have a tool but I know from the check oil light, I turned it off and dropped the oil and found this, non magnetic very fine metal in the sump, what should I check first? I am going to get a rebuild I think because this can’t be good right, so I have posted on another part of the forum asking for good engine rebuild places. But just in case it’s nothing big I want to see where you guys recommend looking first, thanks
