Looking to install a Front and Rear Cams to my VF
looking for any help and ideas like using a snake to get the wires from the sunglass holder to the brake light in the roof
and how and what wires to connect to get 12 volts from the map reading light to power
up a 12v to 5v inverter to run the cams

cheers

Thanks Lout that`s a start going to put one also in my Toyota 105 Series
I`ve got the green tongue but will do the same job just a different color
at least I don`t intend to want to go any where near the Pillar or Airbags
but believe you can remove the screw that holds it need
just don`t disconnect it
the 12v to 5 volt inverters are in the mail and should arrive soon

Will be a bit easier if you remove the rear c-pillar covers and rear Jesus handles. This will let the roof lining drop a little at the back, making getting the wire through a lot easier.

Check for VF dash cam install videos on youtube. Running wiring to the rear and accessing power is quite easy on the VF. You could also look at the link below - although it's for a Blackvue, so you don't have to worry about 12 volt to 5 volt conversion.

I've just read somewhere that the airbag is not in the pillar but in the roof.

Yes. Side Pillar Air Bag thread. Although it does specify the VF.

It’s along the rail. It is in VE as well.
Located behind the A-pillar and along the rail to the C-pillar.
