fuel consumption, whats yours?

Vy v6 auto. Latest figures are 12 around town no ac. 13.8 with ac. But am very trigger happy. Don't mind revving out to the limit. In fact I just love the feeling that ya get when ya floor it off the line. Lol

my VS V6 gets 16-18L around town (normally to work and back with a 2 min drive so doesnt even get warm)
best is about 10L highway

whats people getting for VY V8's ?

Worst i was getting in my LS1 (exhaust and SS inductions CAI) was 17.9 that was with poked O2 sensors, poked spark plugs and at least 2 buggered OEM leads. Have put new Holden recommended sparks in, MSD leads, new O2's and recently thoroughly cleaned my pod filter. Around town and highway driving is seeing me get 14.9/15.0 on average.

My vr v6 gets down to 8l per 100km on the highway, averages 12l, My foot is pretty heavy aswell

Taking the vy on a 1000km round trip tomorrow. Will post up latest highway figures when I get home

Ok so this was about 200km into the journey. Sat on 110kmh cruise controll the whole time. Air com running on one. Few overtaking maneuvers. And I'm not subtle when I take someone on the highway. Foot flat to the floor.

And this is just after pulling into the driveway. Didn't clear once I got to Perth. Aprox. 100km of city driving. Topped up in Perth. And got the 400kms home on what ya see thee on the fuel gauge. What to you guys reckon? Pretty damned impressed myself

Simple answer : too much.
9.5 is lowest I've had country driving
20.2 highest I've had being a hoon.
Stock ecotec ute. (V6)
It's on 13-14 normally. I have a "spirited" driving style tho so it's my fault I have had it down to 11 nanny driving round town. I don't do burnouts ever as I do love my ute.

9.5? Ave speed? Aka 110kmh?

Ave speed ide say 110 sitting on 115 -120 car counts the whole trip from in town so 110 not completely certain. Is 9.5 bad or good. Perth to gero trip. Cruise control, only one overtake whole way and 1 stop.

In the vz v6 sedan just now towed a car on a trailer halfway from geraldton to Perth just got here and comp says 14.3 it's about 200 k trip with the car behind us
37.3 avg speed according to computer. I never reset the trip tho and we sat on about 90 whole way with a c on
