Gearbox conversion

Ok all you gurus
I have a T5 V6 gearbox and I wanting to know your thoughts on is it possible to rebuild with V8 internals and get a v8 belling for it?

But these have hydraulic clutch do they not and that’s new peddle and all that ?

A tremec magnum is basically a beefier T5. The T in T5 stands for Tremec 5 speed.

Crs or Dellow probably sell bellhousing for it.

Reasons why you dont see v6 box used behind v8 is way too short ratio makes 1st gear useless plus need to shorten input shaft to use v8 bellhousing.


Way more common to track down taller ratio ford 6cyl t5 then use dellow or crs kit....easier to source & taller ratio if source correct t5...apparently there is short & tall ratio.
