is the V8 range still going to have the gen 3, I heard somone talking a while ago about a german built enging thats going to be tested

dont know about a germna built engine but the VZ is going to have the Gen 3 and then in the VE holden are introducing the 6.7L (correct me if im wrong) Gen IV V8.

You are correct Gobbles in saying the VZ will have the Gen111, but I think the new Gen IV will be a 6.0L engine not 6.7L.

if thats true how powerful with the hsv versions be

A 6.7L engine is around 408C.I.UMMMMM I doubt Holden would be going that large I mean christ that is pushing the boundries for a small-block.

i reckon that the VZ will have a 260kw version of the gen 3. going to a 6.7 sounds a bit too big of a gap. the 2005 corvette has a 6.0 gen4... am i right? the 6.7 version will "probably" follow sometime later in the year. i dont even know if theres a 6.7 in the vette out now or later. yeah so i reckkon the VE will probably have a 6.0-litre.

fu2_87: im not making fun of you... but where the hell did you hear that? sorry. i dont even think GM makes a 6.1-litre, probably never has, and no one's heard anything about one,...

Almost mate, 6.29 L is 383 C.I. A 6L is around 366 C.I.
