i have got some gutter rash around my SSVR black alloy wheels from a weeekend incident with a high curb/gutter, really annoying as I try to keep my car looking great. Does anyone have any recommendations to get this fixed ie mobile alloy wheel repairers, workshops or should I invest in another wheel from Holden? Any advice, experience and expected cost for this service would be appreciated, I live in Melbourne area.

My spare has some gutter rash also, although not as bad as my current front wheel

Hi Phawk, try Advanced Alloys in Moorabbin, see Lorenso, had some E1 GTS shadow chrome rims repaired for gutter rash there a couple times, excellent job done, good luck

+1 for Advanced Alloys, but I last used them around 15 or so years ago for VS HSV Clubsport wheels and they did a good job.

I was originally so concerned about this I bought a second set of new rims ! Since then I have started touching up the hits with a black touchup paint in a small bottle and to be honest you really have to be looking to find the damage. Its just impossible to keep fixing them especially with the car being driven by the wife !
