headlight problem

Gday all. Just a quick question. My headlights have all of a sudden stopped working. High beam, fog lights are are all good. Checked fuse, they're all good. Could it be the relay ? I am away at work at the moment so can't really check it out till I get home. Cheers guys

try the relay, each headlight has its own fuse, all located in underbonnet fuse box

Take out the headlight H7 Globes first to see if the elements are broken. I had both blown together at the same time when starting the car one night and it has never ever happened again.

Thanks mark. I didnt think of that one. Will pull them when I get home if they're good I'll try a new relay.

Just try one new globe first the relays should be ok really. The H7 globes don't last as long as a bigger H4 globe because they are smaller and get very hot. I know a few guys drill very small holes in the covers at the bottom end on the back of the headlight caps so more air ventilation gets into the cover to keep the globe a bit cooler.
