1999 VS ute
Hi, I installed some LED spot lights up to my VS ute and they work fine with the high/low beam switch but now I have no headlights, only parkers are working. I've checked the fuses and relays which seem fine. When I put the test light on the positive battery terminal and touch the back of the headlight plug, the low beam relay buzzes.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Luke

The vt (and I think the vx) headlights are negatively switched.
By wiring up the spots, you may have inadvertently wired them up as if the headlights were switched positively (like so many other cars).
The trigger for the spot's relay in this case is the earth of the high beam.
You may have burnt out a wire some where. If you can't see anything, maybe look under the fuse/relay box and double check the fuses. Just because they may look ok, doesn't necessarily mean they are.
