Hi just received some custom headlights for my VT, my headlights were stock before these and they were a gift from my husband so I diddnt choose them but they look alright, not the best but better than my yellowing stock ones. The thing is I went to install them today and have no clue how they are supposed to be installed. I get the earthing wire ect but the indicator socket on the light has nowhere for the bulb to go.. its just a hole. Is there a special socket I am supposed to buy to fit this? it is nothing like the stock. There is also a smaller wire from the old headlights that doesnt seem to plug into the new lights.. I know I sound like an ignorant fool but I have never attempted this before and cant find anything online. Please help and be patient with my limited knowledge.

Photos of one of the lights:

I'm pretty sure that the indicator socket will plug straight in, with a bit of a twist. At least it did with mine which look to be the same as yours but not black. I don't know anything about an extra wire, just plug in the six pin plug and it should be right.
You will need to adjust the projector lens for correct alignment because it will probably be way off.

Hey, thanks for your help! once I got the bumper off it was easy :) just thought I would show you how they turned out. Not as nice as the genuine ones but black looks a lot better with red than the yellow did.
