i couldn't get it to run for the past week, but found out it was the coil, got a new coil and unblocked the fuel pump and now it runs and drinks on its own, no more chucking fuel down the carby

Although I did pull up next to one the other day that looked like a complete rust bucket. Would of loved to have known what was under the hood cause it was lumpy as anything. Wasn't even game to give it a go at the lights lol cause pretty sure I would of got my ass kicked by it

nah mate, its been sitting in the shed under a car cover, will be like that for a while, i dont have a very big shed so dont have the room to rip it apart, when i move ill try and get a big shed to rip this thing apart in, but for now im trying to focus on the VB

i do start it every few months just to listen to it

got good news for the van, since im cleaning out my "workshop" once i get rid of the other landrover i have there i will be bringing the van over to start on it, now if only i can get a good 1 ton ute cab to cut out the replacement bits. ill fire it up tomorrow just to hear it.

i have a HQ 308 short block thats had some work done to it in my workshop, what are your thoughts on replacing the original 253 for a worked 308?
