Ahh got to love these Labor governments, telling us whats right and wrong and taking things to extremes.

Seriously, quicker these deadshits are put out of power quicker we can move along with a normal non government controlled life.

Anyone would think hoons are murderers and drug dealers. In fact I think hoons are worse, they certainly get more airtime than murderers and dealers and much harsher penalties to boot.

“As the car does not meet Victoria's strict resale safety standards and is owned outright by the driver, it will be used by VICSES volunteers to practice their road rescue skills before being crushed,” Mr Cameron said.

LOL. Yes, strict resale safety standards. Good one.

it seems australia has seen its first car crushed under hoon laws:
HOON CAR CRUSHED AS LAWS SET TO GET STRONGER AGAIN - Premier of Victoria

just wondering if it was one of us ;)

I doubt there will be many cars crushed.

a/ If there is finance owing on the car and the lender is nominated as having a financial interest in it or
b/ John Q Hoon gets busted drifting mums car etc

the car cannot be sold or crushed. It's a pretty easy work around for most people. Even more of a reason why having the car in your name is a bad thing.

There does seem to be something out of whack with the amount of attention that seemingly minor incidents get in the name of safety when in many instances the speed limit is set artificially low in what would otherwise be a perfectly safe environmnet.

im over this place. we all know this wont work. but the issue is that a fair whack of the general public is brainwashed by all this stuff, so its seen to be a good thing. and if you don't agree, then obviously you are a hoon.

if this becomes a regular thing then its going to be highly likely that more police chases will happen. if you had the chance of outrunning the police or having your car crushed, its not that hard of a decision.

just remember, everyone hurts when you speed. LOL.
