Always 2 hands on the wheel, just in case.

On a highway drive, I'll generally have one hand on the wheel, the other arm on the door sill.

X2, or one hand on wheel & other on shifter.

I'm predominantly 1 on wheel and 1 on shifter. but when things are getting quick it goes back to 2 hands.

when things are slow it is one on the wheel and one out the window.

Highway - both hands mainly, or hold the wheel straight with knees while i eat, or if its a nice arvo ill have one hand at 11 o'clock and one out the window in the breeze.

Around town: not quite full-on fully sick style, 2 o, clock with other hand on the auto shifter.

Or both hands on the bottom of the wheel.

Where is the "10 and 2" with a "shuffle" turning method option?

If it's a long straight drive I find myself with right hand about 1 o'clock enlbow on the sill in most cases and the left hand just dangeling off the wheel at about 7 o'clock.

In traffic, left hand at about 11 and right hand out the window flipping people off. :p

And if its a twisty "fun" road, then find the hand on the inside of the corner so right hand for a right hander and left hand for a left hander at about 2 and 10 respectively.

Normally my hand is only on the shifter when it has something to do there.. otherwise on the wheel.
