How do you remove the clip holding the hose on purge solenoid?

Yeah this one here, I've previously tried taking the same one off the brake booster vacuum pump and the tabs broke but the fitting stayed put :rolleyes:

EDIT: I found this searching "ve commodore purge valve" through an image search.. didn't come up searching through the forums though

Push it in toward the solenoid really firm. Then squeeze the sides at those grippy bits. Pull back

Any idea what the clip type is called so I can get a replacement, I have a broken grippy bit on mine and I would like to replace the connection if possible?

I don't think you just replace the locking tabs,

I am tipping it will have to be a Replacement hose, if they are still available,
Otherwise possibly a wrecker would be your best chance.
Depending on your location in Melbourne,
Jollys would be your best option, as they have a fair few VE's.

EFI solutions will be where to get them.
Nylon fuel and EVAP pipe/tube.
Heat gun to soften the tube or cut, add, joiner, add new tube length and new connector on the end.
