Damn, thats still a fair chunk of kays a week though. Thats what I was doing when I used to work in a different town, so glad I changed jobs, push bike ftw :)

1996 VS Caprice V8. 1996 Proton satria.
Well, i have a 97' VSII and she's just ticked over to 215,000.
Runs well, starts everytime. Only things i've replaced since owning it (175K's)
Is new tyres, Water pump and radiator.
It's an ex Safeway Fleet vehicle, and has always been serviced.
Starts first time everytime even when it's below 10c outside.

Altough, i've been giving it to it alot lately, and the wear on the tranny is starting to show/feel.

I also had a VS Acclaim come into work yesterday with 43,000K's on the clock, i didn't belive it so i asked if they were genuine and this women said she'd been given it by her grandparents.

Bought my '94 VRII for $3,800 at an auction in 2004. It had done 360,000km. Since (as I've had to replace the entire dash cluster) I estimate it's done about 400,000km to date.

Since I've had it replaced tyres, harmonic balancer, alternator voltage regulator, change oil + filter every 6 months, also replaced CTS and oxygen sensor to try improve fuel economy. Now running on gas though.

Had a VR v6 for 11 years and done about 360,000 all up, changed radiator, battery, brake pads, exhaust, tyres etc, etc, but major bits are original. Change engine oil every 6000 k and do auto trans oil every year, fantastic vehicle, tows a trailer every week. Driven to Broome twice as well, still uses very little oil
about to update a few years. Jonesy
