How much can it hold?

Hi guys just wondering how much weight the tailgate on the ve sv6 ute can hold? Don't want to go to the local footy have some blokes sit on and it next thing you no I'm driving home without a tailgate lol, any idea?

No idea, but I'd take a guess and say you'd probably be safe with two blokes sitting on it, maybe three. Four may be a bit too risky.

Ive had 3 boys on mine and had no problems it should be able to take a few hundred kilos

Ok cool normally we would have all the utes lined up full of blokes in each, sometimes we will have 3 or 4 on the gate but I have noticed on ve's the braded
Cable that holds the gate is thinner then ford or earlier models :s
