How much for air con regas?

I paid 80$ for a guy to come out and regas mine. And they do sometimes need to be regased, just not very offen. After i did it was ice cold

No, Just re-gased it. This was on my first car i had to learn to drive in. He put a lot of gas in it as it was almost empty, Thought it was good considering the local shop wanted 99$ for a re-gas.
