A mate of mine is running 10.80's@123mph? or there abouts, in a full weight VK (no cage yet) with a n/a 355 stroker (for your reference)

From memory it made around 520hp or there abouts on the engine dyno.

It's actually quite friendly and tame to drive on the street (big converter, etc) - with the only real issues being noise and EPA/police .

yeah that'd be more like it. even still would have to be stripped out to nothing. 20mm holesaw etc.

the vb is pretty light, i should be able to weigh it down at work but hope the cops dont ping me for doing it.

i really think about 600hp engine is a good start to getting a fast-ish commodore. any more than that and i reckon its probably overkill for a streeter.

Yes, it is, but you didn't ask how streetable it is... However, it is quiet driveable though.

You really don't need that much power IMO. 600HP, is no easy operation.

From memory reading his thread the back seat was removed but only so he could fit the slicks in the back seat since he drove to and from the track
