How to check air fuel ratio

hey everyone

just wondering how one would go about check the air fuel ratios...had hesitiation probs for a while now so its a process of elimination really no one seems to know wat it is

can you take it somewhere and they put a sensor in the zorst or sumthing?

its on the ute which is an ecotec and a vu if that helps

rip one of your o2 sensors out and buy a air-fuel ratio gauge, but it might be cheaper nd easier to just go to a mechanic and get it sussed, or even a dyno run to see if its running rich.

I believe (correct me if im wrong) that you need a wide band o2 sensor for the Air/Fuel gauges to work properly, and the commodores only have a narrow band o2 sensor...

k cool cheers guys :thumbsup: yeh was thinking the gauge but yeh mite end up a bit pricey so mite take it to a dyno joint and c wat eventuates
