First, I recommend doing this on a cold engine..

2nd: Undo the Bottom Rad hose.. To let it drain out.
3rd. Undo all the Hoses (Including 2 tranny ones)
4th. Undo the Thermofan connector (It's close to the Battery)
5th. If there are any bolts on the Rad it self OR clamps on top of it..Undo/remove them.. (Mine has clamps)
6th. Lift the Rad out.

Then..Repeat the process.
Once done..

1st. Undo your Bleed Valve (Not all the way)
2nd. Open the Rad cap and fill up with Coolant until It's full.
3rd. Start the car up..And have the A/C on Heater. And continue to fill as needed.
4th. Fill up the Overflow bottle as well to Full.
5th. Wait for 5min roughly..
6th. Tight the Bleed Valve..And your set!

Wile your doing this whole process.. You should check your Rad hoses and clamps.. Make sure there still good

A Hard Hose is Good!
A soft Hose is Bad and wont keep cooled all that good :)

hi thanks so much for the guides, just two questions might seem really stupid;

the overflow bottle, is that just the engine coolant container?

when you say leave the it for 5 min before tightening the bleeder, is that with the engine on and the a/c heater on? im interested to know why i should have the a/c heater on btw...

thanks

Yes its the "engine coolant container"

And, yes leave the bleed screw open whilst the car is running..
having the heater at max heats up the engine, opening up the thermostat therefore allowing you add more coolant.

do you think I should change my thermostat along with the radiator?

Certainly wouldn't hurt to change it while you're doing other bits of the cooling system

Agreed..

When my last Rad **** itself..

I bought new hoses and clamps..And a new thermostat..

Now the gauge goes half way.. Thermo Kicks in..and it sits at the quarter mark.

Or..Unless you like me.. always havin the A/C on..then you wont see it go past Quarter :p
