How to pick a real Brocky?

Does anyone know of a website where you can verify build numbers etc to tell if a car is a true Brocky? There are more Brock Commodores on the roads now than ever built!

Definitely call Sid at HDT, also the car _should_ have HDT build tags on the firewall plus the owner _should_ have build papers and a build certificate.

It is getting like the old SLR5000s the amount of fakes that were getting around and still getting around is crazy. The same thing is happening with commodores

When built the VC and VHs never had build tags. On the VCs have a look at the steering wheel, has the build number ingraved in them.
Often the build plate, the large rectangle with model code etc, can say what it is. On the VH Group 3 i thinks ita usually VH8VK69-XV2, the XV2 denotes its a SS pack ;)

Not every panel, only the fibreglass kit does. Don't know of the VH has the HDT stamped fibreglass kit, hadn't had a chance to look at one yet. I know the VCs don't have the HDT stamped kit.
